Graduates of doctoral studies in the field of Theology are able to carry out conceptual theological and scientific activities and create professional theological works in the field of church theory and practice, as well as in the field of building a Christian worldview based on professional exegesis of the Bible. They are prepared to hold leadership positions in church, church, parachurch, diaconal and ecumenical institutions and organizations. They can teach theological subjects at the university level and professionally teach and train church workers and church organizations. They understand the problems of the relationship between the natural sciences, the humanities and theology and are qualified to conduct research in theological and related fields. As a personality educated in the field of science and faith at the same time, they have a broad overview of the issues of contemporary philosophical-theological as well as ethical discussion and are able to sensitively process and publicly respond to controversial ethical and social issues related to the Christian faith, religion and culture.
The uniqueness and attractiveness of the study program and the quality of its content are closely related to the results of world and own research. Reforms and changes in education are in the context of the needs of current social and economic practice, modernization of the study program and new forms of teaching. The program is unique within the V4 area in that it is the only one that provides three levels of academic theological education in the evangelical tradition on a long-term basis. The international dimension of the program is given both by the composition of the scientific and pedagogical staff, as well as by the consistent long-term participation of international students and also by the employment of graduates abroad.
